5th San Diego Tattoo Arts Convention

Welcome to San Diego Tattoo Arts Festival 2027 , returning to the Del Mar Fairgrounds from January 22–24, 2027 for its 5th annual edition.

Meet tattoo artists working across a wide range of styles, watch live tattooing throughout the weekend and explore vendor booths while connecting directly with artists about new projects.

Daily tattoo contests and live entertainment add to the festival atmosphere across all three days.

The 2027 programme also features the travelling Tattoo Heritage Project, bringing original flash, vintage machines, rare memorabilia and classic tattoo games together in a hands-on celebration of tattoo history.

A creative marbling seminar led by abstract tattoo artist Nakkab offers visitors another way to make and take home original art.
